Who is LayZe?
Hi, I'm Chalay.
I'm the designer, maker, packer, photographer, soda drinker, and occasional professional procrastinator behind LayZe & Co.
I started this little business because I've always believed the best gifts aren't the biggest ones... they're the ones that make someone stop, smile, laugh, or feel seen.
Whether it's a greeting card that says exactly what your heart couldn't find the words for, a coaster that starts conversations, a bookmark for your favorite bookworm, or a handmade laser gift made just for someone special, every piece is designed with intention.
I create everything from my home studio in California and love bringing my products to local markets where I get to meet the people who make this job so much fun.
Why LayZe & Co.?
The name actually comes from my own name.
LayZe is a play on ChaLAY ZErrell, and it reminds me that this business is personal.
It's not a giant company with hundreds of employees.
It's just me...
...dreaming up ideas at midnight.
...testing designs until they finally feel right.
...packing your order with way too much excitement.
...and doing a little happy dance every time someone chooses something I made.
